Rates and insurance

I offer all clients a free 15 minute phone or video consultation. During this consultation we will discuss what brings you to therapy and I will answer any questions you might have for me! If you feel it is a good fit after we talk, we can schedule our first appointment. If we decide that we are not a good fit, I will refer you to a clinician who I trust and believe will better serve you.

My fee for a 60-minute session is $125. I accept all major debit, credit, and HSA cards.

I want to be available to everyone, including those with limited financial resources. That is why I am currently an in-network provider with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s NC State Health Plan, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. If you do not have BCBS or UHC insurance, I am happy to provide you with a receipt at the end of each session which you can then submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. For more information on how to use insurance for mental health, check out my Insurance FAQ page.

If you feel that we would be a good fit and $125 is not accessible, please contact me about what would be affordable to you, and why you think I am the right counselor for you at this time. I am committed to making mental health services more accessible to everyone, and offer a limited number of need-based sliding scale rates.
